Jennifer Scales is a Tax Manager with more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, providing strategic tax guidance and advisory services to closely held businesses and individuals. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
Her work covers tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, with a strong focus on using technology to make the work faster and the client experience smoother. She has served clients across many industries and markets, which lets her pair technical depth with broad strategic perspective.
Jennifer spent more than two decades working in the Washington, DC area before returning to her hometown of San Diego, so she has served clients in both regional and national markets.

Life Beyond Work
Jennifer volunteers with the YMCA and Junior Achievement and previously served as Treasurer and Board Member of Great and Small. She has led fundraising for Susan G. Komen and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, including efforts that raised more than $125,000 for leukemia research. Off the clock she is a dog mom to two pit bulls who loves hip hop, exploring new places, time with family and friends, and the San Diego sunshine.
