Steve is President of Reason Financial & Tax and a Partner at Reason Financial and Reason Tax Group, where he provides investment management, financial planning, and tax preparation services. As a CFP® professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), and Enrolled Agent (EA), he works both sides of a client’s financial life: the investments and the tax return.
His practice centers on advice that connects investment management, tax planning, and long-term wealth strategy. Steve has built a brain trust of professional specialists into a multi-disciplinary team, so clients get coordinated advice grounded in their full circumstances and long-term objectives rather than one-off recommendations.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Financial and Tax Planning from San Diego State University. After 13 years working inside the industry’s different models, Steve knew exactly what he wanted to build: an independent practice where the advice answers to the client, not a product line.
